I forget that you guys do massive mileage. I have ceramic coating, it does hold up well.. The Exige had a part wrap which was pretty good too.. but both cars never experienced high mileage so can't say if one is better than the other.

I will be going for a full wrap with my next new car purchase.

98% of my 270,000kms are spent on the highway at 70 to 75 mph (how is that for mixing my measurement units) with all the thrown up stones, rocksalt and debris that entails. The hood wrap on th car helped a bit I am sure but at the velocities we are talking about a tank would be what was needed to prevent chips and dings. Thank god the bumper cover is plastic and absorbs the worst of the impact.
The good news is that I no longer have to do my 2 hour each way trips twice a week so the new car will not clock near the mileage as the old one.

You're not going to transfer over the TRD springs and catback to the Hakone?

No. I will get new and different ones if I decide I want to change.

The irony is that most of the Canadians in my area are not on this forum and could not care less who I am.

If only this was 6 years into the future, then I could tell my wife I'm buying it for our daughter.

Maybe I call dibs on your new hakone 6 years from now when you upgrade to the hybrid 86.

Buy the Lava now and store it! Won't beat the deal even storing it that long.

I find it funny that a 2 litre 4 banger has two tips much less four of them.
