Winter Grill Cover
Hey guys. I am looking for a winter grill cover like those they put on trucks. The reason is my oil cooler setup works too well even with a 200F thermostat in it. I need to cover my grill to prevent airflow to the core so I can drive my car this winter. I can't find anything so does anyone got some ideas for a DIY I could do? Thanks guys!

Why not just disconnect the oil cooler for the winter?

Should get some black, thin flexible plastic then. Cut it to size, drill a few holes around the edges and zip tie it to the grill. My only concern would be limiting air flow to the radiator as well.

That is what I was thinking. I think I am going to buy a truck grill cover and cut it to size. I will have to keep an eye on my coolent temps.

Piece of cardboard crammed in between the grill and the rads. Not high tech but worked on some of my old cars perfectly well.

And people certainly do look at you as you blow by them flinging snow about 15 feet in the air on either side.

Thats so ture! A good set of winter tires and I feel safer in my FRS then any 4x4 or AWD car out there. I prefer balance over 4 wheel drive to stay on the road haha!
