If there's one thing that I learned from the military is carrying paperwork with me at all times just in case. I don't see how it could come into play other than allowing me traveling via plane. Another thing may also be providing such documentation when traveling to another state with restrictions in place.

Ugh! Second dose cancelled yesterday.

It is amazing to me that with all the computer controlled production and tracking systems, absolutely no one can tell me when they expect to reschedule...

Yet amazingly enough, they continue to administer first doses on the "hope" they can catch up on the second doses before you have to restart. Yah, that sounds like a plan.

Fer sure, fer sure. In the military I always carried my shot record with me at all times. Why? Because it seemed that every time I turned around some over anxious medic was trying to give me a shot for something or other. It didn't matter whether or not I was being deployed to another continent or walking across the battalion area.

No, I don't plan on carrying my COVID shot record with me unless some situation comes up where someone would require it for admittance to something.

Is that in human, or dog years?

Mendocino County is ahead of Sonoma County with its distribution tiers, so my wife went up there to get her first dose.

This was in the news. I hope it isn’t a repost; I haven’t been following this thread much:

https://www.inverse.com/mind-body/be...ment-discovery

Essentially the article claims some preliminary studies show antidepressants mights have a protective effect at reducing the severity of COVID symptoms and thus deaths.

I wonder if there's anywhere else we could see results that corroborate this?

Would this also potentially explain why there are people getting both doses of the vaccine or even COVID itself but not having much if any side effects? Since some people are likely on antidepressants normally.

"The end of the pandemic? More like the rebirth of the pandemic age"

" “I understand the once-in-a-generation comments. You need to boost morale. You don’t want to send people into reels of despair,” says Professor Edward Holmes, a leading expert on the evolution of coronaviruses at the University of Sydney.

“But the reality of the matter is, the way we were living prior to COVID, the intimate interactions with animals, this globally connected transport network, these massive mega-cities, all those things are an accident waiting to happen.” "
