I think the Class KR rear muffler (88db) actually sounds the most fitting to the car. The others are somewhat too raspy, but then again recordings are normally not reflective of the depth of sound.

Having said that, I am a fan of Kakimoto and their history.

It's perplexing why HKS never bothered to record the sound from inside the car.

Something I thought of - do you think axle back from gen 1 will fit if you replace mid pipe section too from gen 1 ?

Yes, because that would essentially make it a cat-back.

I'm not going to lie, I'm digging not only the exhaust but that vehicles wheel / suspension setup. Sitting just about how I want mine to.

Is that the N1 again but with a header/front pipe?

I have a 2022 limited, and I put an MXP SP dual exit with the burnt tips on last weekend. Sounds good, very similar to the 2.0 but maybe a bit deeper. I'm gonna try and do a nice compare video but I should get out of the break in period first.

I fudged the stock exhaust clip by doing a 1-2 hard pull before swapping it out but I hope to have it compiled sometime next week.

So it seems all GEN 1 exhausts work perfectly fine huh? No issues bolting it up?
