Fit Matters

The right solution for every application. An optimized chassis setup begins with the right wheel and tire fitment, and without model-specific attention, maximum performance is compromised. We offer the ARC-8 in several different widths, offsets and diameters to give drivers a choice between straightforward bolt-on fitments to more aggressive specialty fitments depending their goals for the car. Daily drivers and professional racers don't have the same needs, so why should they be forced to buy the same exact fitment?

These wheels were developed exclusively for the 86/BRZ chassis in a square configuration which promotes a neutral handling experience while allowing drivers to efficiently rotate wheels and tires on all four corners of the car. This dramatically reduces the cost of tires over time. Corner carving & track enthusiasts: this is your wheel.

Massive Brake Clearance

Engineered to clear factory Brembo brake options, as well as a variety of aftermarket BBK’s. APEX wheels are specifically engineered to clear all OEM brake calipers including the Performance Package/TRD Brembo brakes. Our wheels are targeted at the serious performance-minded owner knowing many will elect to upgrade the basic OE caliper and disc setup as they get more serious with mods. If you do go with an aftermarket big brake kit (BBK), most big brake kits that clear 17” wheels will fit behind our low profile spokes without spacers, although some applications may need a thin spacer due to the added width of aftermarket calipers.

Confirmed BBK clearance on our 17x9.0” ET42 ARC-8 wheel include: Stoptech ST40 328mm, Essex-AP Sprint 4 pot 325mm, Essex-AP Endurance 4 pot 299mm, AP Racing 4 pot 330mm, Wilwood's kits, RacingBrake 4045, STi 4 Piston, 300ZX 4 pot, Alcon 4 pot 334mm, Sparta 4 pot 355mm kit (3mm spacer is recommended), Tarox B32-6 326mm kit, RR Racing Stage I through IV Competition kits. Wheels shouldn’t limit your choice of factory or aftermarket big brake kits, and big brake kits shouldn’t force you to run heavier, oversized wheels. We conducted extensive Finite Element Analysis to reinforce high-stress areas and to remove material where it didn’t improve strength. The end result is a flow formed wheel with an ideal balance of strength and weight.

True VIA - JWL & Beyond

Many companies promote their wheels as being certified by the VIA when they actually aren’t. That’s like using the USDA logo on food without permission. APEX wheels get officially tested and registered by the VIA in Japan, and we have the proof to back it up. Japan’s JWL is a standard for wheel load ratings. Our wheels exceed those ratings. Additional Features

Hub Centric - All APEX 86/BRZ wheels with a 5x100mm bolt pattern are purpose built featuring a 56.1mm center bore. No centering rings required.

Center Caps - All wheels come with our gloss Black APEX caps included, and optional gloss red APEX caps are also available. We also design our 86/BRZ wheels to be interchangeable with the OE cap for enthusiasts seeking a clean factory look.

Hardware - APEX wheels can be used with all OEM mounting hardware, proper aftermarket hardware and wheel spacers. Wheel locks and stud conversion kits also work perfectly.

TPMS - All APEX wheels accept OEM and aftermarket Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensors and standard fit valve stems. If your vehicle isn’t equipped with sensors or you choose to bypass them for your track/race car, then select from our metal stems available in multiple finishes.

I must be using the wrong site or something. The only 18x9 I see is the EC-7R +35. I would take it, but I really need something in the +42-45 range.

As more people have gotten their hands on Gen 2 cars, we've been watching our 17x9" ET42 get scooped up faster than ever. In one of our wheel finishes, we essentially had an entire restock worth of wheels pre-sold through backorders.

We are expecting some more of our Satin Black and Satin Bronze at the end of May. The next Anthracite batch is due in July.

If you haven't already, I recommend placing a backorder. Once we get new wheels in, yours will ship out automatically.
