hi guys, how do you know when i need to change my batteries? ( I have ESC v.3)
when i engage boost, my volt meter drops but it slowly right back up to 28.3 even i am pushing my gas pedal all the way to the floor. this means i need new batteries?
my starter battery is fine but i never replaced 2 dump batteries since i installed. I've been running the kit for 4 years

I'f your batteries were bad you would see less boost than what your used to usually half of the boost you normally hit.
If your going full throttle and the voltmeter is indicating that it's charging back up. Then that's gonna be something else. Can you provide a video?

yeah i felt like i dont gain boost so i was wondering.
I will try to take video tomorrow and post
It's like this.

from normal --> 28.3 ~28.6 reading
engaging --> drops voltmeter around 26 range
gas pedal is still on floor and --> voltmeter slowly going up to 28.3 from 26

Are u running the original switch pedal, the partial boost switch or the proceed controller

If your batteries are 4 years old then there's a real good chance they are past their prime. I usually replace mine about every 2 years whenever my boost reduces. Check the boost with the OFT. At peak it should be almost 5 psi.

i am engaging boost with gas pedal and holding it.
volt meter is going up instead of going down. i am thinking it is battery but sharing the video. i will order 2 dump batteries and see if this resolve the issue

Huh, yea I didn't read on your original post that your batteries were 4 years old knowing that I think that's gonna be the culprit.

Super excited about this guy's! So me and @steve99 are still working on the tune and finally today he said I can go boost now. I hit 7.2psi right around 3500rpm and then at 7000rpm tapered down to 2psi and 1.5 at 7500. The car pulls right away it's crazy! I'll post a quick vdyno to compare with my last vdyno when I had only one phantom.

Yes they were lean, steve noticed the car over ran a load limit when I hit boost. So he has since disabled that. After about 3800 the AFR stabled out a bit.
