When you say early 20, are we talking jan/feb or do you not have any idea? I really want to get my spacer ordered but if it’s only a few weeks for the harness then I will wait as I’d rather have the fitting as easy as poss. Where if it’s going to be a few months then il take a chance on just the spacer only and hope my mechanic can extend the wires. I’m guessing the steering controls would be the same between American and European models, can anyone confirm?
Thanks

I'm sure you are asking for information that you can use to make a decision. We lack that information currently. Often times for a supply chain on any given product there are two or three, sometimes four tiers of suppliers to get to the finished product that we shipped to you. While everyone is curious about all these details between making custom bits on a CNC machine to make a new mold for a new connector in a company that is currently being sold.. no one really cares. All you really care about is "when am I going to get my stuff!"

Every vendor has their own euphemistic way of saying "we don't know". Ours is "No ETA"

To reiterate, we have no reliable information that you can use for planning. Sorry to be so long-winded but I want everyone to understand that we prefer not to release any information that would possibly lead to you making plans that could later be broken.

This extender is what I've been dreaming of.. Is it possible to install this on a 2018 Automatic Transmission BRZ?

Yes, however you'll lose steering wheel controls until the updated harness arrives. That likely includes the paddle shifters, though we haven't had the opportunity to confirm that.

Harness isn't ready yet but if you're paying for the shipping I don't see why they won't.

Does this apply to autos from before the refresh?

Most likely your shifter paddles will not work for both pre and post facelift models. It's unconfirmed but so far it's only designed to keep the air bags functioning so you'd be lucky if it works.
