Unfortunately I wasn't logging when this event happened. Traction and VSC were both turned off.

Anybody having anything similar to this happening?
Do you think it's temperature related? Timing being pulled? It's really hot in socal right now. Sometimes I've felt that it's not making as much power as it should, and other times it seems fine. When I look at my digital vent gauge boost readout, it's making boost.

Shiumai I'm thinking the same. It's never happened when it's at night or cool outside. Both times that it did happen it was a bit warm outside, today was especially warm at 85+.

What does puzzle me is that it only cuts power in 3rd, not 1-2.

Interesting... What type of dyno where you on when you hit 275?

I'm not completely out of capacity, but the AFR is creeping up to 11.6 by redline. The tuner was trying to keep it a few tenths lower than that so I'm not over capacity by a lot.

Parts have arrived, so the dyno graph will tell if the fueling was really causing a restriction.

I've got a re-tune planned for end of the month.

I jinxed myself, on the way home tonight it was nice and cool out and the same thing happened. This time a fast shift into 2nd and the car fell flat on it's face. Tried it again could not repeat it.

Frustrated, I did one more pull, 1st gear pulled strong and smooth, shifted hard to 2nd, pulling hard still, powershift into 3rd and it fell on it's face, felt like no power. Kept it floored and the power felt really uneven, almost surging, then as the revs climbed it smoothed out and started pulling hard again to redline.

BTW, all pulls were done with both TRAC and VSC disabled

Now I'm thinking is this what Delicious tuning described as erratic MAP behavior from the Bosch sensor Edelbrock uses? Is the fix the D-Box?

I'll order it right now if it is!

Anyone have an idea on what the 0-60 time would be if you added this kit to a base 6mt ft86? I just want to get an idea on what the acceleration would be like compared to other cars I've driven

Apparently ranging from high 4s to low 5s, based on some research I've done. Of course this would vary based on the mods and the tune etc

Have any clue on what the quarter mile time would be with this kit on an otherwise stock 86?

No, sorry. I'm not into drag racing at all, so I haven't paid attention in my online travels for info

As I recall earlier in this thread it took about 2 tenths off the time with the standard tune. That said, my memory could be faulty and not up to the search!

I've got an AEM drop in, 320 lph and Injector Dynamics 1050x injectors going in soon.

No plans for e85 as it's impossible to find here in West Virginia.

Are you able to share, what the update may include...specifically on the alternator fitment?

Also, do you have a rough idea of timeframe? this year? first half 2018? last half 2018?etc.

Thanks Mike.
