FI guys how fast are you?
How fast is your 86 under boost? I'm sure it improved your strait line performance but how bad did it wreck the driving performance. I saw a video where the guy would just blip the throttle and go sideways. I can't imagine my car having 300hp or 300ftlbs being so so lite in the rear but it would be fun to test it. Guess I'd have to lite foot it in twisties

I wouldn't imagine it would be hard to control due to the engines being low torque engines (torque to HP ratio). With stock tires it would be though.

Ya stock tires and suspension in general would scare the crap out of me at that hp/torque. I can't even imagine trying to drive it in the rain or cold.

mines Cosworth and the throttle calibration has a lovely smoothness to the power delivery which does help.

Is this a question for why are you not getting traction in FI? or is this a legitimate question about track times with FI vs NA?
This car has characteristics to slide out stock. Thats how it was designed with the skinny tires and stiff suspension. Wider tires and tuned suspension as well as tuned torque curves will fix the problem. Now, I know of a person who was NA then went FI for track and then back to NA. Why you may ask? Well a couple things; FI gets really hot on the track. You can beat on NA and not have too much heat problems. He also beat his best time at Laguna Seca while NA rather than FI. He would also tell me about how he would have to end sessions early just because his car was getting too hot.

All FRS's are slow so NA is slowest, E85 headers and other bolt ons is a little less slow, and FI is a lot less slow
