BRZ start button not always working?

My BRZ start button failed 3-4 times in a row to crank the engine last night.
1st time it happens to me (car has 13K KM on it).
Yes I had the clutch pedal fully depress (tought it might be the clutch switch at begining that was failing). Re-did the sequence of turning ignition fully off 3-4 times and tried again to start engine without success.

Then asked my son to just push the car a bit forward while I release the clutch (in 3rd gear) just to make the engine move a bit (to move cam sensors or whatever else could cause this electronic bug).
I tried start button right after and the car just started like normal...

This happened to anyone of you guys yet?

Any clue what could cause that (besides a possibly faulty clutch switch)?

Will advise dealer for sure when heading for next oil change in a month or so but if it does it only randomly they'll do nothing about it. Will keep you guys up if does it again.

Still interested to hear if anyone else had this issue before so I can tell them ain't only me...

I have seen this with my BRz a couple times. If i cycle the button until it is off, press it once to turn "on" then press clutch and start again it never fails. But the first time or two it happened I remember getting fairly frustrated.

I posted this in the Canadian section a while back, it's happened to me like 4-5 times already. Was wondering what the hell was going on, it's been a while that it had happened though. At least now I know why it's happening!!

Just wiggle that steering wheel 'til it unlocks, and you're good to go.
