HKS GTIII RS Turbo Build Help/Advice

Hello FTFam!

I’m in the process of going turbocharged and I want some advice on parts. I want to know if I’m under doing or overdoing any parts here such as I beams vs H beams being overkill. My horsepower goal is 400whp so I will be building the engine, I will also be running E85 pretty much exclusively so if the Flex Fuel kit from Delicious Tuning isn’t required let me know. Here’s the part list:

I need some gauges of course any recommendations on those? I’ll probably have to replace the CV joints as well since this is a good jump from stock, I’ve heard mixed reviews about the Driveshaft Shop Pro Level kit. Any help would be appreciated, I’m working with Kinetic Autoworks in MD but if anyone has any recommendations for the tuning and labor let me know as well.

You think it's gonna be cheaper or is it just a better option? I don't have anywhere to store my OEM block.

Some companies will take the core. i.e. your oem block and reuse it

Considering you still need to add main bearings, head studs, and main bolts which are 260ish and 425ish from ARP, along with gaskets. If you are not doing it yourself add labor too, buying a built short block is pretty close in price.

If your engine is in decent shape you could still sell the short block and recoup a good chunk of money.
