I napped way to long today and now I'm wide awake. Shit.

Btw, best picnic kit.

Same's probably going to happen to me. Took a much longer weekend nap than usual, must've been due to the warm day. Don't think I'll be getting much shut eye tonight.

Hey Spike. Mine was a champagne picnic. We were passing Alice's at 9, then again at 1, then home in the hot tub. Once again saw more GT3s than twins. Beautiful day. It was even sunny in half moon bay. Did you get a drive in?

Heyo.

Yeah, saw your comment about what you did today! Sounds like a fantastic early summer day!

There certainly seem to be many GT3s around those parts nowadays. Not today unfortunately! Went on a short drive with Nic (you may remember him from the Alameda meetup and that drive we did a month or so back) around Sierra Rd. in San Jose/Milpitas yesterday, which was pretty enjoyable.

Next fun "drive" I'll be doing is heading up to Willows Thursday for my HPDE on Friday! Very excited but also a bit anxious.

Yes I remember Nic. nice guy.

You will have a super fun time. Take pictures when you can, can't wait to hear about it.

Definitely will. Also loaded up on a couple new batteries and a new housing case thing for my GoPro. Going to try setting it up on the rear windshield.

Very cool.

I'm going to try to start a weekly night run, like 17 to bear creek, stop at Joe's bar in boulder creek for a pint, then back down 9. I'm thinking every Wed or thurs.

I'll post on the local board soon.

Awesome. I'd be interested! Probably just can't do it on weeks where I'm on call/on pagerduty for work since I need to be near cell reception.

Count me in. Still need to go on that route. Maybe we can scout it out sometime soon? Perhaps next week?

LOL! Yeah right. It'll be a cold day in hell before she comes to a car meetup.

Sometimes I wish it wasn't considered odd or unsafe to take a late night walk. Like this time of night (1am).

Back in my dorming days in college, circa 6.5 or so years ago, at night I'd sometimes take a walk around campus and maybe sit on a bench and enjoy the peaceful quiet with a nice cool breeze. Didn't really need to worry much about safety back then with UPD patrolling ever so often, though now I hear it's worse than back then.

Just can't really get that around here or during the day, especially in a more urban neighborhood like where I live.

Yep, that was me. We're almost through it, with the exception of the two series that aren't on Netflix yet.

I'm about 7 episodes in. It is oddly interesting.

Thanks for turning me on to it.

I lived on 10th street in the fraternity house for a couple years in college at SJSU in the early '80s. Saw some pretty crazy stuff.
