Ecutek tuning software questions for newbie

Hey you guys, I've been researching the methods of tuning and the capabilities of the tuning softwares of the frs/brz.

Regarding the Ecutek tuning software, is it just like the COBB accesport where tuners can make maps on the accessport and I would be able to access them whenever I feel like it?

What are the main differences between ecutek and accessport? Im used to the accessport because I currently have a wrx with an accessport.

Thanks guys! I really appreciate you guys helping me, I've been trying to research but I couldn't find the answers here.

I'd choose between ecutek and OFT for twins platform. Accessport .. i even never heard of it brought up here, so most probably too few actual users and tuners for it, to use it on these cars.
I'd take OFT if intake/exhaust aftermarket bits are purchased one by one and if i wish more to tinker myself and/or use ecu tuning lore from this forum. Ecutek (preferably with custom dynotune), if all the bits are installed together and if i wish to use services of some tuning shop to tune ecu, as majority of tuners for this platform tune only ecutek.

@churchx I think you missed his point, Cobb haven't released the Accessport for this platform either.

ECUtek is similar in that the tuners can lock tunes, most tuners will do that so you won't have access to change anything. The option is there to leave unlocked, mine is for example, but that's up for you to find someone who will.
