Splicing into an OE harness always pains me for some reason.

Nooooooo!

I know the feeling. It's nice when I can make an adapter with factory connectors.

That’s what I wanted but it wouldn’t have worked with the space I had. I am pulling RPM reference signal from coil #1. It did all fit back in the OE loom so I felt a little better. I do have another harness I can do a less molested job of later.

Yeah. Sometimes it's not practical.

Yeah I can kind of live with it for now. The only clue something extra is going on is the additional cable running to the harness. Going to bust out some heat tape. FP/OP looming a bit too ominously in the background.

I've watched a few of these clips. I find them relaxing. I like the contrast of the professional pilot with the agricultural surrounds. Lots of different take-off and landing scenarios.

Didn't know that Cottonwood Trees were a thing. We have lots of cotton around here but it doesn't get the chance to blow around much.

They are a type of poplar and they can send massive amounts of fluff off right about now. We have a few of them up around our cottage and they make a hell of a mess.
