If you can wait I would get the Gruppe-S. Wonderful quality for the price. However, if you can't wait look for a second hand JDL, Tomei, OFH. The quality of the Gruppe-S is really nice for the price range. I've had mine for awhile now and have no issues with it.

1320 was awesome to deal with and I haven't had any problems with their header. I've had it on 3 autocross days and 2 or 3 months of daily driving.

It's loud with the N1 exhaust but fitment was pretty good and the price was great.

My experience has been the opposite. Zero problems with mine. Sounds like you don't have a flat flange.

Uhm, yeah. That would be the problem. The flange was warped out of the box.

So you installed a defective part? I'd go as far as saying that it's user error on your end for having a leaky header.

IMO, Gruppe-S, hands down. It's very similar to Tomei with similar results, and you can see that from Bob at Drift Office's testing.

If you want to spend money on a header, JDL and others are not the way to go, Ace is, hands down.

Some sellers include hardware and others don't, just ask the seller. I paid 17 euros for all hardware required.

Kinda doubt that, being that I'm an ASE certified mechanic and it was installed in my shop using proper tools, including a $480 Snapon digital torque wrench.

And you still installed a defective part, then bitched about a leak. I'm not sure what part of "user error" you're not understanding here.

For what it's worth, I installed my CNT header in my garage, using 25+ year old jack, jackstands, craftsman tools and no torque wrench and haven't had a single issue with it.

Why would you install a header with a warped flange? A 480 dollar torque wrench won't fix that. Common sense would.
