Valve Train Adjustments

My last car was an E46 M3 and every 45k the "Inspection II" service called for a lash adjustment. Last night I'm reading the FA20 engine manual and there's a procedure for the same thing. I don't see valve train adjustments in the recommended maintenance procedures. Is anyone planning to do them?

According to Crawford Preformance the car has a solid valve train. The engine manual has a procedure for it so it's a useful question again.
