I also love it how some people just assume that what others are saying must be based on some random junk they read somewhere.

Positive scrub radius is generally BAD for strut-based suspension. But whatever, go ahead and do whatever stupid thing you wanted to do to your suspension. Chances are we're in a different demographic, so you crashing won't affect my insurance rates.

I think you are taking this the wrong way. No one claimed that wheel spacers will enhance performance, but to say that this will cause you to crash...?
We simply put this up for anyone that wants to enhance the looks of their cars. Not everyone on this forum will be aiming to set their cars up for track use. We as a shop are here to experiment with aftermarket components and share with the community what you can do with your car. You can decide what / how you would like your car to handle / look.
We like to offer options for the wide range of demographics on this forum.

We simply put the spacers on our car because we are waiting for our suspension components to arrive.

I know quite a few "teams" that use spacers on the track.

But Touge, did you find out the smallest size Ichiba V2 spacers that would fit?

Look, everyone is free to put whatever they want on their cars. The question was "how does it handle", and I replied.
Then some douche came in an decided to attack me, cause he doesn't like my opinion.

It won't improve handling w/o other mods. This means nothing for track use. Sure, there will be people who use spacers on the track (I doubt many would run 25mm though), but they will do lots of other mods (for example stiffer suspension bushings) that will counteract ill effects off positive scrub radius. On an otherwise-stock car positive scrub will totally screw up steering feedback and make car gain toe-out under braking, which isn't too safe of a setting. Unstable set-up under braking can make an inexperienced person crash.

All-in-all, spacers may or may not be worth it to gain some visual appeal, but handling effects will be there.

The wheels have clearance to allow for the stock studs to poke through.
So, you should be safe with even 10mm spacers.

So you measured and I would still have the required minimum of 12mm thread engagement even with 10mm spacers fitted?
