Any info on required camber? Not too many people are mentioning camber.. Like sure it will fit but I don't want some dumb amount of camber to make it fit.. > -2 would be ideal.

Everyone tells me different things.. The guy above said you just need coils you say spacers. Some one else said over -2 camber only. It's just too many cooks in the kitchen haha

You do realize that those are just different options to "fix" the issue at hand right?

The stock struts are too fat/wide and will rub on the wheel/tire especially with 265.

Coilovers are thinner/narrower, thus giving you more inner wheel/tire to strut clearance.

Camber/crash bolts can move the strut and its angle towards the inside of the car, thus giving you more inner wheel/tire to strut clearance.

Spacers give you more inner wheel/tire to strut clearance.

What did we learn here?

You need more inner wheel/tire to strut clearance.

But my question was with coils what kind of camber are people running, and a guy said "you need spacers or it'll rub" which doesn't answer the question on camber. Cause as we all know camber and spacers don't do the same thing.

So according to the few people that responded to me I need coils, 0 camber and spacers (mystery size, since that wasn't mentioned), and then you're saying they are all the same (which they are not) so pick one. Haha.

Spacers push the wheel out from the hub. Camber changes the vertical angle left and right. And coilovers will change the spring perch size basically.
If I do spacers more than likely the wheel/tire will be on the fender lip. Cause 9.5" wheels with neutral camber are right on the edge already, so that would then lead back to the original question of what camber are people running?

I'm looking at running the same specs. From my understanding, you can NOT run a 265 tire with those wheel specs using stock struts. With spacers, it will stick out too much. You will need coilovers for the strut clearance. I don't know exact camber, but with coilovers probably around 1-2 degrees (correct if wrong)

Just read the first page on this thread. All your questions will be answered. It won't fit and 255 is still cutting it close.

I run 18x9.5 +40 squared with coilovers. I have 245/35/18 in front and 255/35/18 rear. I have 1.2degree camber in front and 2.6 in the rear with adjustable LCAs (RSR specifically).

A child couldn't fit their fingers in the rear fenders.

Guys, it's really not that difficult. At all.

Get coilovers, adjustable top hats or crash/camber bolts and get your wheels. Adjust camber to your OWN car. Every car is different. There is no set in stone on what will or will not work given everyone has different thresholds of "does this look good" or "does this "fit""

However, a good basis and in generalization speaking. After you get coilovers and a way to add some camber up front, those specs will fit no problem.

Why not run square 255s? Your creating extra under steer for no reason.
