Injector/Compressions Issue....

Anyone else ever have this problem or know about it....

Car was heading to the dealer anyway for some regular maintenance, but was making a slight knocking noise under acceleration. The car was ran hard for two days a few weeks ago at TWS and then sat in a garage until the other day when it was going to the dealer.

Dealer says it was/is the injectors causing a lack of compression...?

They have decided along with Subaru to cover it under good will, the car is still under warranty anyway.

I am just wondering if anyone else has had this problem. The dealer is in Houston and from what I understand they have another BRZ there with the same problem.

Thanks for any input.

Rob

Glad to hear they're taking care of you, imo it shouldn't be 'goodwill'.

Its funny how dealer goodwill seems to now be...we'll be nice and honor your warrantee.

But, most people who report knocking around here seem to have oil starvation with serious engine issues. Hope you are not one of them.
