Yeah. 225 might be a bit too much tire though. And I would probably just be happy with sticky tires if they wouldnt wear out so fast since I drive so much. Though I guess I dont drive the spyder as often so maybe I should just do that. But I also already get massive body roll and sticky tires would just make that worse. Should probably wait til I get better suspension

So how much lighter do wheels have to be to make up for heavier tires?

2ZZ swap would solve the too much tire problem.

An equal or greater amount. Greater because inertia, but unless if you're chasing a lap time, you'd be hard pressed to notice.

Yeah, I need a place to store serious project cars, because it's one of the things that I want to do.

I have the garage space for a "simple" swap like that, but the FRS gets priority for the most part. The spyder will get suspension and a catback and stay for a while. Maybe wheels too when it needs tire next.

The tranny is not the smoothest though so a 6spd may be in its future.

There's an LS1 in everything now anyway. It's too cliche.

Day off from work, I want a beer.

No one to hang with since everyone works normal hours.

Yeah, and 2ZZ prices have plummeted. Part of me wants to do a 2GR or 3MZ swap, but I know that'll take significantly more fabrication.

I like the 2zz since I can get a BAR sticker if needed (Cali smog laws). But since I have an 05 its a bit more of a pain to find a newer motor/ecu combo since the Celica ended so I just have the Matrix/Vibe to search from. Granted it also looks stock enough I probably dont need it.
