The splitter hangs on turnbuckles that are mounted to the actual bumper beam. The bumper cover is supported from underneath by the splitter.

Ah. Ok. Well running a splitter isnt an option and some custom version of that isnt something I feel like trying personally. I guess I'll see what the quik latches do in a couple months when I get them
