Greeting All

Hello all I go by Unashamed_Nerd (...and I am TOO!). I am into my fourth week of ownership of a 2014 Subaru BRZ Limited (in WR Blue Pearl) and I am as proud as a new parent. I have been lurking on the forums since I got my new baby and now I feel that I should join in earnest.

I am looking forward to connecting with fellow BRZ and FR-S owners and possibly attending meet up's.

Here is a picture of my new pride and joy!

Hello All

Im Tyler, Live out in NC. Just brought my new 2015 BRZ home this weekend and am already loving it. I came from a Scion TC so this car feels like a 100% upgrade to me. I hope to run into some of you all as I am roaming the land with the new Ride.

New Member... New 2015 BRZ Series.Blue!

Hi Everyone! I'm the proud new owner of a 2015 BRZ Series.Blue! For the past 8 years, we became a Hyundai family, but when it came time to get my "Empty-Nester / Semi-Mid-Life Crisis" FUN car, I scoured the internet, researching 'affordable sports coupes', and every 'expert' list I encountered always had the BRZ/FRS near the top. Then, when I saw the announcement for the 2015 BRZ Series.Blue (and the accompanying photos), I just HAD to see one. I learned a local dealer was getting one, I pestered a salesman to let me know when it arrived, and drug my wife along to see it. Knowing it wouldn't last long, and with my wife's blessing (of course!), I drove it home that day. LOVE it so far (500 miles in). I had to re-educate myself on the nuances of driving a manual again, but it was like falling off a bike and it all came roaring back to me.
I'll find the proper thread eventually in here, but wanted to throw out my chief desire here in my initial forum message - my car came with summer performance tires, so for the first time in all my years of owning cars, I'm gonna have to figure out how to go about getting winter tires, so any and all advice will be greatly appreciated, including specific tire manufacturer recos, should I go ahead and get a separate set of rims, etc.

Thanks in advance! Thrilled to be here!

New to the Forum

I am from Atlanta, GA and have had my BRZ for 1 year and love it! It's been my project car. The biggest change is putting flex fuel...what a difference!

i have the same car but, i live in florida. I looked through the entire book binder in the glove box. it had multiple brochures of tire companies. Maybe look through those?

congrats on the car. I'm at 211 miles. cant wait for the break in period to be done.

Hello all, just picked up my WRB BRZ limited 6mt last week and couldnt be more stoked. Im coming from owning only german vehicles. a 1993 S4, a 1992 Corrado VR6, and a 1999.0 GTI VR6. the quattro in the S4 was awesome but the FWD in the volkswagens got old so i needed some RWD in my life. Still have the GTI for the daily/winter car but loving the BRZ so much so far. a big head turner. looking forward to using this forum and hopefully adding some useful info to it!

Officially joined the club.

Just took delivery today First new car ever.
Got it 100% on my own too

Did a bit of sliding today in a empty parking lot. Turns out switching off the traction control helps I know people say its slow but after the 109 hp Honda Fit this thing is a rocket.

Sad i live in Ohio and the front is now ruined by a license plate -_-
Thanks Obama... :P
