The wife's new car has auto collision avoidance braking, auto lane correction, auto follow cruise, auto back up obstacle braking and blind spot indicators. It can steer, see and avoid obstacles both forward and backwards and stop all on its own. In other words it is about 90% ready for self driving. Some infrastructure, more vehicles equipped the same and some programming for the GPS and it could be ready to go on it's own tomorrow.

I just finished waxing my FR-S.
Yep, the WHOLE thing. Except under the front bumper ...... I can't see under there ..... but, it has to be a mess. Just polished off the last panel ....... took me most of the week .....one panel at a time .... didn't want to over do ....... must go now and take a loooong nap. humfrz |
