Fog lights installation?

I went to my local autobody shop for a fog lights installation estimate, and im worried because he said, need to remove the front bumper to get it. Im afraid when he install back the bumper can be misaligned. Thoughts?

That's the only way to hook up the fog lights. Should've had the dealer install it when you bought it.

Yuh, but it comes with a warranty from the dealer. So if the front bumper is misaligned they'll warranty it by fixing it.

Eh you can technically do it without removing the bumper, however to properly route the harness and make it clean then yea it's best if you do. If there is enough slack then you could get creative with the routing without removing the bumper. I didn't do it on the Winjets at first but I eventually did just to fix the harness.

Your FRS didn't come with fog lights? I assumed that was standard equipment on all of them

Bumper removal is not necessary . You can access it from the side wheel wells. Really easy installation. Took me about an hour

I was gonna say, you literally can just get to those panels under the turn signals without the bumper off, just go through the wheel wells and undo on of the 10 mm bolts under the front tray.

Don't follow the wiring stuff because I'm not sure what you have, but the access to those foglight locations is easy.

There is no need to remove the front bumper. Removing the outer corners of the lower tray (a 10mm bolt and 3 push pin locking style tabs on each side) will give you all the access you need.

To makes it a little easier you can also remove the three locking push pins in each side of the fender and remove the front turn signal indicators (2 10mm nuts) and it'll make it even easier to do.

I found the hardest part was dealing with the confines of the grounding straps for the OEM kit and getting the plug for the OEM harness install out.

Other than that, its a cake walk.

Had mine installed from a shop without needing to remove bumper. Labor cost was $110 and took around an hr and half
