And removing the belt is much simpler. The oil is harder to change, but you do it much less often than the vortech, which i like.

Vortech has been around longer, and has a long reputation and stands by their products. I feel their kit is much more complicated to install.

However when it comes to power delivery? As we don't have access to an intercooled edition in the US yet we cannot test, but we will likely be running comparison tests once they start to pop up. As for non intercooled? The vortech has a nicer pull on the top end. I made a good 25% more horse power at peak than the innovate guys (I am waiting on this dyno from the shop to show). However the torque was lower. So when it came down to higher rev's and acceleration the vortech was better. But when it came out to balanced torque distribution the innovate wins. It is your choice as to which you want.

Also note the vortech has a decent amount of headroom. I am not even maxing mine out revolution wise and I dyno'd almost 50% higher peak power than the innovate (which was not maxed out, but afaik it doesn't have too much headroom above that).

I love both the kits, and feel they both have their place. If you have access to E85 then that is another bonus, the innovate ran great after we pumped e85 into the system.
Either way it's preference. Your car is on more psi via the pulley you have. I feel the Innovate will be a bit more of a surprise intercooled and with a smaller pulley 😈 For now Vortech wins power and probably will hands down without a doubt. Just no way to even compare closely without an IC and more boost.

The other car def had an issue and im correcting that now. It would be nice if we didnt get throw us under the bus as soon as there was an issue. We are here to help you guys so dont hesitate to ask

We recommend starting with the single bolt and then torque the outer 2. Also stainless steel expands and contracts with heat cycles so it would be a good idea to check on them from time to time

I guess from now on we just won't talk about it.

You all can talk about it all you like. It would nice if the facts would be mentioned if you (whoever) do. The pics that had a piece of another gasket is from a customers install. I told him I would look over everything to ensure our product was good to go. That is what I found upon removal of the header.

ooo Ok, I was like damnnn son I didn't say anything about a leak on the forum at all. I knew it was either my poor install or that there was a small adjustment needed. I was fed up with trying to fix it myself on Monday that i fab'd up that sweet little piece of a gasket you found haha. It did help keep down the leak a bit for the time being

Ha Bobby didn't mean anything by "we just won't talk about it". To the JDL guys, it was an ongoing joke we had for dyno weekend. Apparently no one wanted to talk about anything. Just giving you some insight from what that phrase now means. We were think about getting shirts made? @Ninjin

I have to say I am impressed with the 8 extra HP bonks car made with the JDL header. I would like to compare our dyno plots to see what the differences are on the whole rpm range.

Speaking of re dyno can I join in on this? Getting 5pc light weight pulleys from @Raceseng and would love to do it when it arrives! And wanting to see how the trd exhaust perform.

I can overlay them later when I get to my desk.

Of course! I just need to get some work done and we will figure a day out here soon. I think Keith has a dyno jet in mind. I plan on going to both a dynojet and back to goodspeed

What about the day of the dyno day when it broke down? Shit. Me and @Ninjin just got the car permanently fixed... Now to hit the dyno for final numbers and to get the overlays -.-
