The cap uses an o-ring seal and is a very tight fit. While this is good for holding pressure, it takes some work to get it on. The instructions do advise that it is necessary to press the cap all the way down before turning it to lock it in place. Smearing a little brake fluid on the o-ring before pushing it in make the job a little easier. Once the cap is in place there is no leakage at all.

Nice car, and great thread. I am new to the forums, and I have bookmarked the first page of this thread. It is really cool that you have all of the mods linked, so newbs like me can figure it out.
I really like the clean aesthetic that you have achieved. Cheers! |

Fun to watch the track vids.
Interesting to compare notes from my only time driving a BRZ at Barber. I thought it was a really well balanced car in stock form and the chassis lived up to all of the internet/magazine raves. What surprised me the most was the ergonomics are excellent (Im 6'3") and with a capable set of pads I thought the braking was superb for a street car under $30k new. Heres one of my vids: [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pTi-rBYsYv8"]Subaru BRZ / FT86 at Barber Motorsports Park - Rezoom Motorsports - 11/2/2013 - YouTube[/ame] Car : 2013 Subaru BRZ Engine : Stock Suspension : Stock Tires : Falkzen Azenis RT615K Brakes : Carbotech XP10 / RBF600 Fluid / Stoptech Lines / Grimm Speed Master Cylinder Brace / Centric Premium Blank Rotors |

Got to say it again (I know its sounds weird hearing this from me), but at my weakest moment of even considering going Monogram FRS... all I got to do is look at your BRZ and all those dirty thoughts disappear.

Yeah, it's really, really bad. My wife has been stuck 5 miles from home for the last 5 hours.

All thawed out here thankfully. Just filled my calendar up with a bunch of track days.
Planning on instructing and driving these dates so far:

Wow, looks like a busy schedule!
I may do a track event with HOD this year. It's just too expensive for me at the moment. I'm hoping to do several autox events though. I've been more or less modeling my upgrade path after yours |
