AT trans whine? Anyone else?
For anyone with an automatic. While in second gear, sport mode, (trac on, trac sport, trac off doesn't matter.) even a little bit of 3rd gear not on accel too hard do you get a whine? Similar to the sound of straight cut gears, but very faint and only noticeable if you are really listening to the car while windows down radio off etc. Has made the sound since day one. I don't suspect any issues. Just wanted to put that out there. Also it is too faint to catch on video, at least I haven't been able to yet.

They all whine. I think it's a pretty compact unit so you're bound to hear some.
Mine does it, and the three brand new ones I test drove did too. I say normal... |
