Cusco Spin Turn Knob (Drift Knob)
Was thinking about buying a red Cusco Spin turn knob (only 25 bucks) in order to match the red accents throughout the interior of the car.
Only problem is that I don't know if the knob, when engaged in park, can be knocked out of place i.e. accidentally hitting it when leaving the car, thus allowing the car to move when parked. I know the fail safe way would be to park the car in gear, but I'm just curious as to what exactly happens..... When engaged, do you have to lift the ebrake, and then disengage it? Or do you have to simply push down on the ebrake itself to disengage?

I just installed mine yesterday. all you do is pull up on the e brake and pull the knob out and it locks just like the original on. to disengage all you do is pull up a little and push the button back in. pretty much all your doing is removing the spring in the e brake and putting a longer button on so you can pull on it to lock it

^ this. It's mostly the same as a stock handbrake knob. Just pull the knob out as you pull up when you want it to stay locked.
Then press in like any other car when you want to disengage the handbrake

I'd buy one just for kicks, but the video about it said it has some good rattle since it sits kind of loose in there. The only solution he gave was to "learn to live with it." I'll pass.

Even if there was a slight rattle, the purpose it serves is well worth it

I just installed mine. Chewed up the stock button when trying to twist it out though. But once installed mine never rattles. And there is no way it can become disengaged once the handbrake is up and the button locked. I tried to disengage it by hitting on the button but it never does. You have to pull up more and push the button back in to disengage
