I suppose he never said admiring about it being difficult to drive in the rain. Just asked if anyone does. Still kinda silly cuz it's just water but I suppose if it was in a garage, and I'd just washed it, and I had another car... maybe I wouldn't drive it

Start rant.

What I posted was the second thought condensed version. The first version probably pealed paint as I was writing it.
I conjunction with guys in California telling me that I can buy all the mods they did with $500, guys that need way more power but need to know how much HP the engine can take, guys that want to know how they can secure their car and the other half dozen current REALLY dumbass threads on the go I am pushing my patience. Ya I know "just don't go there" but that is easier said then done. Besides I keep getting blind sided by stupider shit in every new thread.

Rant over.

Couldn't pass it up. I shouldn't have clicked the link in the first place, but when Tcoat loses his cool, I have to know why for some reason.

I participated. :3

I get lots of stupid questions in IT. Lots of stupid questions.

And I've only been on the forum for a year. But that has to be top 3 of stupid threads I've seen on here...

Like the lady who called me oh-so-many years ago during a blackout to ask if that's why she couldn't print from her laptop? I forget how long ago this was, but it predated VoIP.

Ok, I will freely admit I am a noob when it comes to cars.

But holy fuck, this is getting worse than the FRS/BRZ groups on facebook.

I'm kind of wondering if we can get a mod to change Squady's display name to "Patient Zero." New thread driven Squamydia.

Though, there will be a few occasions where I'm not limiting myself (mostly military functions, New Years Levee, Remembrance Day, Christmas dinner and the Junior Ranks Ball) but for the majority of the year, it's working well.
Didn't have much time to reply earlier. That's great to hear! Like @humfrz said, one day at a time. If you are able to limit yourself, that's huge. Work that angle. Be brutally honest with yourself. It's a slippery slope when we negotiate and justify our way right back into the shit hole.

So new plan for the car. Keeping it as is for now (except for tires) and save up money for auto-x and track days.

If I can get promoted by the end of the year, I'll get the suspension stuff and possibly new wheels but gotta save for now.

Damn its going to be difficult lol

The one that got me was the guy asking if his car was OK with that little fucking scrape an underside cover and tow hoom. I was like some of mine fucking crumpled let alone scratched.

Good plan ......... you can do it .........

HINT: the next time you see a mod ...... you just must have ....... set it aside for a week or so ....... I have found it will usually "go away" .......

Oh, @finch1750, I think it's important for keeping one's sanity, on many forums, is to realize and acknowledge, that some people just have a more limited understanding of .... "how things work".

Thus, when they see, feel or hear something, that is not familiar to them or they are not expecting, and/or they don't understand, they get overly concerned.
