I hate that post stroke eating has now become a chore. (IE I eat so I don't die)
I still love food. But literally one of those burgers would last me a day.
At least I'm losing weight. XD

Not at all. Elk really isn’t that gamey. You get a bit of it in like a steak.

Plus, at a restaurant, the odds of it being wild are about 0.

Yeah, most likely farmed. Usually you mix pork fat/lard in with game meat what you make burger or it’s too dry and doesn’t hold together.

Leftover concoction.

A smoked Brisket, bacon-jalapeños popper mac 'n cheese. A good 30minute bake togo and I'll be 10lbs heavier!

I had to share these. Latest gifts from neighbors. One is a homemade jalapenos jam. Very good. The other pink liquid is a grape juice concentrate. I guess the next door neighbor went to the neighbor with the grapes, got about 50 pound worth and used a steam juicer and canned several cans of the pink juice. Never heard of a steam juicer.

Of course you have heard of a "steam juicer", maybe by another name. Those ol neighbor boys thar in Idaho, jest gave it a city slicker name for you California types -

I constantly hear the Mister Softee soft-serve ice cream truck in my neighborhood and almost never find him.

Recently found out they have an app with relatively current locations for their trucks and today decided to try tracking one down:

Milk-flavor (maybe with some vanilla) with oreo dust on top .

It's a little pricier than I'd like (thanks inflation) but it really is some great soft serve.

I'm working on making a half Ziti: half lb ziti, half lb motz cheese, you get the idea.

That would kill me but I would still eat so much I’d feel terrible for a couple days.
