The main reason I want some heat relief from the vents is the freshly installed Oil Cooker.
That is basically right where my duct sits. It pulls enough air it actually causes a weird swirl pattern on my windshield in the rain.

Extended the middle vent rain guards so rain doesn`t pour all over the turbo. Outer vents are fine. Restriction is not an issue as they get removed at the track.

It would be cool if a company made a vent like the Civic Type R has. I BELIEVE it’s purpose is to ram air straight into the transmission tunnel. This then creates a low pressure area or some other magic and can then begin to suck the engine bay heat into the transmission tunnel.

Im pretty sure I read in one of the known publications, that the hood vent is for ECU temps.

Couldn`t help myself. I extended all the rain guards, for better run off clearance, and painted them with a brush. Camera actually looks worse than by eye. Etch primer first then satin black polyurethane.

Did long overdue brake fluid flush with fresh RBF700 and swapped my temporary adjustable endlinks for Tein ones. Need to give those wheel wells a nice clean after this summer

@MrSkubi: I also have Tein Flex A's. What damper setting do you use on track?

Honestly it depends on track and tire. This year I’m mostly tracking on R888r and for more technical (karting style) tracks I like them quite stiff like -3/-4 clicks from stiffest and -5 rear. For Tor Poznan (fast track) I set them up initially at -5 clicks front and -7 rear for warm up session and than make them 2 clicks stiffer in the following session and adjust further (make them stiffer or sorter) from that depending on how much understeer/oversteer I’m getting. There is no good definitive answear really to that question - just some general ideas where to start. For more street oriented tire I wouldn’t go as stiff and start closer to the middle of the range like -7 front and -8 rear but it’s me some ppl might benefit more from completly different settings. I hope it helps just a little bit 😉

Thanks. I've got mine at -7 for street. You've given me good ideas on where to start with track adjustments.

Picked up my Work Meister S1 3P rims today and put my front tireless 18" x 9.5" -14 rim on to see how she's gonna look with my molded RB fenders 🥰🥰.
