Where are they?

Just a feedback

I orderered this car knowing about some impecfections

1.Criquets
2.Torque issues when passing from undirect to direct injection zones (-+3krpm)
3.tail light condensation
4.Fuzzy NAV

5.AT choice is not an option in a car like this

Nothing noticed for me up to now .
Is it the MY2015?

Yep 2015's have the antidote injected at dealerships before being released into the wild!

Crickets you may or may not still develop. They are not a sure thing but pretty reliable in their eventual appearance.
The dip is more evident on paper than in real life. Unless you are tracking or racing you should barely notice it (if at all) during regular driving.
The tail lights were fixed ages ago (although some still swear they get it on newer models)
Don't have an opinion on the Nav since I didn't get it.

When you say "fuzzy" do you mean the image or the directions? I have a 2015 with the NAV and the image is fine. The directions are not always the best, though.

1. Crickets aren't as likely to develop (if at all) if you use ethanol-free fuel. Never been to Luxembourg, so not sure what you've got there, but I'm guessing you're ethanol-free.
2. You've got it like we all do, but it really isn't that noticeable.
3. This is largely fixed.
4. What do you mean by fuzzy? Mine has a clear picture, but isn't the best nav system by any stretch of the imagination - showed me driving through a field the other day when I was actually on the highway.

Didn't know about this one. I noticed a "shudder" when punching it around a corner (2nd gear mostly) but I thought it was just the throttle vs. TCS trying to keep the car straight. Too many computers fighting each other. Hmm, going to have to search for threads on this undirect vs. direct thingy. Thanks!

2014 whiteout sexy Fr-S, no crickets @16.5k.

Only issue I've noticed now is rpm slight barely noticeable drop @ full stop take off. Mini leak somewhere? Too unimportant to check atm.

Also, can be an issue but not really, but, downshifting to first around 6mph or so, has grinded twice for me and once it refused to go in. Maybe my digital speedometer not as accurate as I thought or I didnt fully press clutch?

Too tired from work to notice things more specifically at times...

Toyota's NAV has pretty decent content. I like the FASTEST,SHORTEST & ECO route choices . The auto in/out map zooming is a nice feature.
Detail : The Sound/Nav pack comes with Subwoofers & JBL speakers making a perceptible difference in the sound quality

The torque dip was noticeable to me. Start out from a light trying to accelerate quickly, and it would go nicely from 1-2K rpm, then lag between 3-4K, then go again. I solved some of it with an OFT.

I wasn't aware they'd solved the light issue? Curious what the difference is as the problem was a design flaw of poorly sealed lights + drainage path. I solved that with the DIY fix.

Fixed.

Dont bother with cricket voodoo. You'll have them or you wont.

Don't think twice about it.

You need to activate the route choices . This is not the default mode. I guess the default mode is the shortest which generaly is not the better option
