Ah yes, 10 man tents with broken heaters. Everyone cuddled together to keep warm. Good ole Vermont cold weather training.

I spent 5 years in the army and never spent so much as one night in a tent. The trick was to get a trade where you were always be assigned to air bases. They had no clue what a tent even was.

I spent countless nights freezing or sweating in a tent because of our Mountain designation. Where do Mountain units train at for cold? Vermont. Summer? Fort Polk, LA . My recruiter said; You like computers and communications? You'll be in a shelter with AC (Came to find out it was the winter air), monitoring Radio comms and setting up antennas (15-30 meter masts that suck big time).

Damn that sucks. Beautiful car, my cousins boss in Okinawa has a convertible in his collection. It was one of my favorites.

I enjoy when my boss procrastinate til the day before the due date to send me a project. I get that you're busy... but compiling the data and sending it to me only take 5 mins MAX. Now it'll take up 95% of today's work day to get this data updated, organized and send it back for you to report it first thing in tomorrow morning. Result, it pushes back almost all today's work to Monday... Just let me have that access privilege and we don't have to through this shit every damn month!

I'm wondering if there is a correlation between when he @ichitaka05 flirts with that cute, married neighbor lady and when his car gets banged into -

Ah yes, those were good times. Zip our sleeping bags together to stay warm. Mind you, this was after the don't-ask-don't-tell was dropped too.

Yep, folks, I reckon this is how it came down for ol Tcoat during his Army tour.

He would hang out in the ready room till an aircraft came in that needed refueling, then hop into his preheated refueling truck, hook up for a spell, return to the ready room and tell his fellow soldiers war stories about how nasty the weather was "out there" -
