For spirited drives it would probably do, but for track, no. I installed a bar and fin type AT cooler, went that route because I did not want to block anymore airflow to the radiator. If you want more info, check my build thread. For spirited runs tranny temps hover around 90C-100C. But during my last trackday, temps rose to 130c-140C. That was on a 40C day, and the cooler was not getting enough airflow. I'm switching to a bigger B&M AT cooler and will find ways to mount it at front.
A larger radiator will help, but in track situations when oil/water temps are running hot, it won't help the tranny as much.

B&M makes a trans cooler (70297) with its own fan if you're running out of real estate in front of the radiator. I put a similar one on my Camaro as a stand-alone, bypassing the radiator completely. Never saw temps over maybe 175F on hot Texas days.

YMMV

Absolutely true. I was at Laguna Seca this past Saturday and someone ran a 1:48 lap time in a lightly modified frs and a 1:44 lap time in a heavily modified + turbo FRS the same day.

I got the 70268. I also purchased the Laile front beam brace and will try to figure out how to fit my intercooler, oil cooler, AT cooler, and radiator adequate airflow.

Stock class, but not 100% stock

***Maximum of 6 track days a year + beginner autocross + shit loads of mountain runs***

Currently Own:

-Perrin Lightweight Crank Pulley

-Borla catback Exhaust

-Borla fp / op (catless)

Going to buy:

- Bilstein B14 Coilovers

- Flex Fuel Kit

-Stage 1 or 2 Brake package (ft86speedfactory)

-Catch Can

-Sway Bar

-Oil cooler that comes with Supercharger

&& get everything ECUTEK tuned of course
I believe I'm the most qualified individual here to answer this.

- Dump the crank pulley. It's not needed.

- Do either the coilovers or the supercharger, but not both at the same time. One change at a time to learn the change

- Get the Flex Fuel kit from the get go, so you don't need to tune twice.

- Don't bother with a "staged" brake package. They're glorified street setups that do little to nothing to help you on track. Instead, get yourself a set of real track pads and good fluid. Unless you care only about your mod list, those packages are a waste of money.

- Catch cans are a must for a track/canyon car with FI.

- Sway bars are fine tuning tools. Hold off on these until you've got suspension on your car, and have identified what exactly you want to change about the behavior of the car.

- Oil cooler is 100% mandatory for any car driven hard.

We can package everything together for you if you're interested. I don't believe anyone on this board has our amount of experience combining a track/suspension/fi setup for mixed street/track/spirited duty.

Tires, alignment, pads, header, tune. Not sure if anything else, but just what I noticed from a cursory glance.

Oh gotcha I didn't realize header and tune were in stock class unless I heard wrong about the class

Ironically, the guy who did the 1:44 was the same guy who ran the 1:48 in his friend's car
