Couple days a go, but an older woman maybe mid-late 30s was parked in front of me at a gas station, after filling her car she asked how mine fared in the snow, chit chatted a bit about the need for winter tires considering we haven't even seen winter yet here in Canada, she mentioned how she keeps her RX-8 (or RX-7, can't remember, but wasn't driving it at the time) parked indoors for the winter, then with her goodbye mentioned she liked the "nice looking" car
😊 very nice lady lol I generally get dirty looks from her generation so it was a nice change of pace 👍

HA HA HA HA "older woman maybe mid-late 30s"
My daughter is mid-late 30s!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is actually her generation that I get the most positive female responses from when they see my car. As I have said before though they are usually purely based on colour not the type of car it is.

Sounds near identical to what happened to me parked across a lot at a store had a older lady (early 40's) say I had a nice car and that she drives a moded wrx and we talked a bit.

And really older people are usually the first ones to give me compliments on the car.

As someone who qualifies as "older people" to you kids, I'm totally okay with this.

Sorry, Tcoat, I guess you're just ancient by ft86club.com standards.

I am pretty sure @Tcoat had to start his first car with a hand crank.

That's just the buzz around the water cooler.

This morning, a guy in an old-school AE86 threw a bunch of revs at me on the highway. I guess that's a compliment?

Nope no crank. Did have to push it a time or two though!
Oh, and it made the FRS look like a rocket on the take off.

Sort of an anti-sweet ride bro story isn't it?
