My asphalt FRS

So here is my FRS.. seen one you seen them all right lol.. Ive got about 450-500$ into lighting.. LED, retrofits, HID, only halogen bulbs left are the rear turn signal, the LED ones were not bright enough for my taste.

Ive blacked out my housings.. well as close to the same color as i could find. installed LED halo's from TRS.. 5K TRS HID bulbs, and retrofit projectors from TRS and LEDs from all the vendors on here, backup lights, license plate lights, trunk light, interior light, front switch back park/turn signal lights. high beams are from autozone lol.. silver star ultras, i have to bake the lights apart again and add a small thin spacer/washer on the bottom of the projectors to raise them so i can lower the housings back down as the halogen high beams are aimed way to high

I also love the Hyper flash.. i think its a lot more noticable so even though i have the LED relay, i havent installed it.. its not everyones cup of tea..

Otherwise, besides a Injen intake and Perrin pulley its all stock. future plans are a greddy EVO3 exhaust, fortune auto coil overs, and a nice set of rims, i like the works but havent settled on one set yet

on to the pictures

day i got her

three weeks later

week after that

both my toys

doing the retrofit

I like the demon eye look

all pulled apart waiting to have the new projectors installed

side by side comparison of the stock projectors and the mini H1 retrofits

side by side

all finished

the new day time running lights

lows

demon eyes

lows and the halos on

highs

the cut off is pefect as far as light going above the line.. in the picture it doesnt look like it because the switchbacks are so bright they scatter light all over

and the highs, as you can see the halogen bulbs are a bit to high

Love the light scheme you have going on! Those demon eyes are the coolest thing I have seen. I might request a DIY if you're up to it

Also, sexy looking turn signals you have there!!

I can do a DIY with the stock projectors next time I'm out around my tool box.. I first seen it on HID planet and just loved the look

Looks like i might be adding my car to the list of cars that have the idle dip

i pulled up to a stop sign after pulling out my apartments and felt a shutter.. didnt think nothing of it.. next stop sign felt it again.. every stop after that i was watching the rpm's and noticed them dipping down to about 350-400 on the gauge.. dosnt do it when the A/C is on.. It does do it in any mode, sport, manuel shift, auto.. guess ill see if it gets worse.. just over 7200 miles
