The Gen 2 Exhaust Thread
Quote:
A lot of people have different tolerance levels for drone. I’m sure it drones, all exhausts that don’t have a big single suitcase muffler like stock have at least a fairly significant standing wave in that 2400-3000rpm frequency. Wether it’s noticeable, apparent, or annoying is mostly up to personal sensitivity/preference. |

My previous car (2020 civic si coupe) I had a type r exhaust retrofitted + muffler delete + catless downpipe, needless to say it droned quite a bit in those rev ranges so maybe I'm just used to heavier drone so I don't notice it as much if it at all with the MXP. |

^agreed - I would only change out the header for power reasons if there is a really nice aftermarket option… sound is really nice already with the OEM

Sard just released a sound clip of their full titanium exhaust a few days ago. Weight saving is 6.5kg over stock. Not sure what pipe diameter though

So I ordered the MXP rs comp cat back and one of the muffler exit pipes is oval. The problem is the round tip won't fit over the oval to clamp down.
It tried bending with pliers and clamping it down hard but it barely fits over it. Is there an easier way to make that exit pipe round? Sent from my Pixel 6 using Tapatalk |
