Brake lines has never been a huge issue on this platform. Many people do them but only a few may really need them.

He said somewhere that new one is softer, but overall an improvement from first model. I suppose softness is more a BRZ thing because of the changed spring rates, the thinner sway bars and the change of the rear sway bar location.

Spring rates on the ZD8 are the same in the rear as the 2017+ ZC6, and stiffer up front.

Front sway bar is 18.3mm hollow vs 18mm solid, and the rear sway bar is back to the pre-facelift ZC6 size (14mm from 15mm) BUT the new mounting makes it more efficient so it should act like a bigger bar than the 14mm solid that it is.

Overall I don’t see how the new BRZ can be softer than the 2017. The front bar is probably be softer (no way to know without knowing the ID), but the hefty increase in front spring rate can compensate for a decent loss in roll stiffness. Maybe overall NVH improvements are creating an increase in overall comfort that makes it seem softer overall?

Factory tires are a lot sticker on the 2022 than the 2013-2017, 4s vs Primacy. More grip, more body roll, feels softer?

They are not 4s tires. They are the regular non s Pilot Sport 4.
