Thank you @Chaetagnath, @phanguy, @DustinS. I was able successfully execute a fully functioning Dual Climate control swap.

Or at least how you got the dash bar out haha. I have everything I need to finish full dual, but I couldn't get the dash bar out.

What is not mentioned in the write up but perhaps in the manual is that you must pull outer sleeve out. Then there is one bolt that secures the steering column just before the u joint thingy. You have to open that and pull the column out completely. (update: Also its kind of difficult to put the column back over to the shaft. The best way of inserting it back is to pry it open with a screw driver just enough to so it slides back. The slit is right by the bolt you would take out on the last step, which you cant miss.) Note that once you disconnect that your steering might go back together straight. You might have to adjust steering wheel to make is straight and might even have to run Techstream VCS normalization, if the traction and ABS lights comes on.

The only thing which is not right at this point is, as soon as I turn the dial to anything besides low, its blowing super hot air. It seems like there is no temp modulation.
Did you have such a problem at all?

Make sure the Temp sensor is plugged in and tube is attached. Mine had fallen off somehow. Although I don't have A/C yet as I am LS Swapped, if I had mine set at anything less than "HIGH" it would turn the heat very low and get cold in the car.
You may have to try and calibrate the motors, or set them a certain way.

On occasion when the external temperature is cool, there is a large difference between the low setting and the next up on the auto (65), so it blows warmish. However on normal hot days it is pretty good at blowing cool air throughout. Maybe try adjusting the temp sensor location. |

i didnt noticed it at all till u point that out. Thanks. So my question is, with that list and the corresponding connector (IL-AG5-7S-S3C1) are what i need to do a complete swap? If so, i would start duplicating that harness.

Its working good now. When it comes to the Relay socket regular socket relay is not going to work. I ordered one and no good. So I 3d printed one relay socket, used 9mm male and female slip on connector for the thick relay terminals on both end with a wire in between. The original relay socket Randy used is only available in Europe. I probably should have ordered it, instead of relaying on eBay relays. At the end 3d solution worked just as well.

im going to revive this old thread. Someone on one of the facebook groups claims that on the 17+ 86s (assuming the same for brz premium?) they run same exact wiring harness as the one used on the dual climate control equipped ones. Essentially if this is true, then i wouldnt have to go through the trouble of putting together a new harness for at least single zone climate control. Anybody know or willing to help me do the research to see if there is any truth to this?
