I'm still happy with my stock 86 after watching this video.

Edited: Minus the oem tires!

Its amazing how much time was shaved off by going to a better tire (AD08) in the stock 215/45/17 size. Going to an 18" didn't seem to have as much of a benefit.

Not true the 18s has better stability cornering from what I understood then again it is a wider tire so it may not have to do with the + size

BMTV is that like a cable channel in Japan? I can only imagine how awesome their daily Television programs are. Our gearhead channels are only cool if you like Trucks and older American Cars

@fang_gt86 - Totally agree, my FR-S is the best car that I've driven in a long time.

@D_Thissen - Have been looking into this tire since a fellow, relatively local, showed his off. Love the tread pattern. Looks much better than a BFG KDW2 for the street.

@GT86drifter - Since they were running the stock 17" wheel during test 2 (black wheel vs. gold), it's really hard to say if there was any improvement over stock, save for the few hundredths in speed. Still might be an improvement, but ROI is the question.

Just the same, AWESOME video (even without subtitles). Love my Garage Queen.
