Stock gutted fp vs aftermarket fp

Are there any differences power and sound wise from a stock front pipe with the cat gutted out vs an aftermarket catless front pipe? About to get tuned and wondering if buying a front pipe would improve anything since mine is gutted and technically "free flowing"

Aftermarket catless front pipe usually are much louder because of lack of resonators, or insufficient resonator size.

Are they any front pipes that are the same volume as stock but a deeper tone? My car is plenty loud right now lol

JDL Ultra quiet pipe has a 200 cell cat in it as Somerandom said. HKS and Fujitsubo both make a dual resonated decatted front pipe. I have the Fujitsubo one, it makes the exhaust note of my perrin much deeper at lower RPM but doesn't add loads of volume.

But still louder than stock because this front pipe uses a standard 200 cell cat that is much smaller than factory.

Same issue on my end. I used to drive the OEM header with 200er cat, 2.5" Overpipe, OEM frontpipe with 200er cat and a 2.5" Ragazzon catback. The overall volume was too quiet. Then I installed a 2.5" Motiv catted frontpipe without resonator and the sound and volume turned great... for a while. For daily driving too much volume.
Now I have two options: going back to a OEM frontpipe and have a metal cat installed or find a very quiet catted 2.5" frontpipe which is the preferred option. the guys who sold the Motiv mentioned that there is not much difference between the Motiv and the JDL catted resonated although it is resonated.
Do you guys know a 2.5" frontpipe that is quieter than the JDL/Motiv FP's?

borla has overpipe/ front pipe combo.. 2.25" which is similar to stock but deleting the cat and the resonator.. I have this and everything else is stock.. it sounds the same as stock to me.. but could be different if it's combined with other aftermarket exhaust components

You'll likely need to have a shop fabricate you one if you want one quieter than the JDL ultra quiet. It'd probably be something along the lines of a 200 cell cat and a helmholtz style resonator combo.. similar to the Nameless one.
