Installed STI push button start and STI shift knob on January 11, 2022.

Installed the FTSpeed Carbon Fiber/ Alcantara Steering wheel on January 15, 2022. Tried adding the pause/ play button from a 2017 BRZ Limited but it's not plug and play. Figured to just keep it there instead of removing the airbag again to switch it out.

Fully cleaned interior on January 18, 2022 and installed the special YEET button

Installed OEM Alcantara upper door trim today. Love that material.

Installed Rexpeed Carbon Fiber Hood Dampers today. More room to work under the hood and no chance of hitting the hood prop.

Debadged the letters on the trunk today. Gives it a cleaner look. Next up is installing a Valenti 4th brake light this weekend.

Thanks! For now, these are just exhaust tips. I didn't like how OEM tips were sunken into the diffuser. I saw that Japan BRZs had OEM tips that protrude much further than ours. The tips I used:

I remember your car from the subreddit! Your BRZ is simple, yet looks elevated enough with the black and carbon fiber accents. I'm such a sucker for ice silver / steel twins.

Finally got my 4th brake light to work! I got it from another user from this site.
It's the OLM VL Style 4th brake light FT86SF Edition but it says Valenti on the lens? Anyways, I was able to resolder to have a custom lighting situation.

I always wanted an OEM look for the 4th brake light and this was the closest one I've seen.

Here's a write up I did for anyone interested:

Oh and got one of my favorite wings/ spoilers. I love the RX7 FD and the OEM wing was just perfect on it. This is a different take on it but similar attributes.
Plus, R Magic is a company that works on rotaries so it made sense to get this wing.

Went down from Los Angeles to San Diego this past Monday to swoop it up.

It was between this, rowen wing, or the tS wing.

This is the R Magic Type C Carbon Fiber Wing. I've only seen 2 in the states and now I have 1 of them! The other one is from this video but not sure if the owner still has it:

Anyways, I'll be test fitting this over the weekend. I'm planning to keep my trunk and add the wing. We'll see if I keep the carbon fiber trunk.

And yes, this was bought secondhand hence the fading on the carbon. I plan to restore it and paint match the gloss black on the wing to ice silver. Keep the carbon part of course.

I'd say the same for your Artisan wing! How bad was the wait time from Japan?

So before I bought it (and before covid hit), they apparently prided themselves on being the only japanese aftermarket parts maker to have a 2 week turnaround time. Got the parts 8 months later lol. There was some weird holdup with the local retailer. Something about them needing my VIN number due to some peculiar japanese sales regulations? Anyway, yeah long wait.

Test fitted the trunk/ wing over the weekend. It looks awesome. Also, this Seibon carbon fiber trunk is much lighter compared to the OEM trunk.

The plan for the wing is to paint match the gloss black into ice silver and keep the carbon on the wing blade. Not sure if I wanna keep the carbon fiber trunk.

Today I was able to separate the trunk and wing. I searched online that dental floss and fishing line would work. I tried dental floss and it didn't work at all.

It's a good thing I string tennis rackets because I used that to 'floss' away the 9 year old 3M tape. Tennis string worked perfectly along with a heat gun. Now to just clean it all up.

Great build so far. I'm really liking those alcantara upper door panels. Do you have the part numbers for them? Also do you know if they will fit the FRS door card?

Yup they should work for the FRS door card. There's a bit of work to switch em out. You'll need to pull off the door card and remove 6 screws behind it and some pull tabs.

Here's the part numbers:
Driver side: 94243CA210VH
Passenger side: 94243CA200VH

I bought em here:
