I think it's achievable but you might want to lower your expectations if you plan on the innovate route. It drives great at 237whp. I wanted the same but I can live with what I have. I hope to squeeze out another 20whp or so but we'll see. I just needed more power between turns and usable torque on exit, mission accomplished.
For what it's worth, my car w/turbo dynoed 207 on the same dyno Robi uses and about 220 on a mustang. A stock car dynos in the low 130s on this dyno (the thing is the king of heart breakers). So Robi's car is probably above 300 whp on a dynojet with the BS STD smoothing that we typically see around here.

I totally agree. If you are tracking this car even stock, the oil cooler should be considered mandatory.

Things to consider when selecting your mods:

1: What goal you are attempting to reach (WHP/WTQ, 1/4 mile/road course times, etc)
2: Is your goal realistic given current knowledge available for the platform
3: What amount of money are you capable of initially investing
4: Are the mods you are considering going to work towards your end goal.
5: Given the amount of money you can initially invest are you going to be able to complete your first set of mods or will your car be down waiting on a clutch, fuel mods, etc..

i've spent a whoooooole lot less than $10k and my car is capable of 450+whp with the right fuel (e85). 300 easy on pump 93 once the tune is all wrapped up. No idea why you'd have to spend $10k to reach that goal.

I've spent about $10K but my benchmark was a Cayman S and I'm pretty darn close if not ahead on a technical course.

10k is the car complete with exterior, lighting, engine, etc. If I sell it now its probably going to hurt my credit, which isn't happening lol.

Oil cooler, check.

As far as where I buy, I'm not too sure yet. I'll probably haggle with someone on the phone for a package deal.

Evox was my top pick for a long time until I drove the FRS. I have to say its pretty nice to slide it sideways around exit ramps at 50mph haha. That and its just so much sexier than the evo.

I've seen the vortech kits getting close to 300, and the hks as well. But, when I supercharge, I like the sound of a twin screw. Reminds me of my friends 03 cobra. Swift's videos sound like the escudo from gt3 haha.

Thanks for the opinions guys. I might just do all the NA mods first(keeping in mind FI later) and just troll these forums for a while seeing who breaks down first.

That's more like it! Over pipe, front pipe, and headers to tip exhaust. Are you on the stock fuel pump? Any other mods? Is your sc intercooled? Stock pulley? Sorry for all the questions, but you just gave me hope lol

No worries. It was all bolt ons that i hit 200 with. Injen intake, borla uel headers, perrin 3" headerback exhaust.

Sc isnt intercooled, havent changed out pump or injectors yet, and stock pulley. Any other qustions, feel free to ask. Might take me a bit to answer, aince im at work delivering pizzaa.

I'm not expecting this to feel like V8, but does it pull strong enough to warrant the money you've invested? or does it still feel like you need more power?

Sorry, id forgotten to mention the Visconti tune, too. She felt awesome! Id spent about 6k just on power, and i thought that its how the 86 should have come.

Currently, im happy with the power. Or will be once we get the tune finalized. Even now though, she pulls so much harder than she used to. I think that powerwise, 200whp will be enough for most people. Pulled smoother, and harder. Fast enough to not worry abput minivans being able to beat the car from light to light. Lol

After looking at the FA20club kit, I'm thinking maybe to just throw caution to the wind and go turbo.... Knowing the power that I'm used to, I'm just going to want more and more. Thanks for all the information guys, this forum is way more helpful than any others I've seen. I'll be contacting FA20club when tax returns come around for sure.

The HKS has only seen 300 whp on race gas. I am still not sure you are buying the right car.
