Toni mentioned something about that, but I can't remember what it was.

Still pretty dam quick regardless, cant wait for mine!
I think the boost tapers just because it is a GT2871R and not a larger turbo. I have done everything I can including tuning my EBC to get the boost plot to look as good as it can. The power peak still occurs right where it does on a stock motor.

This Build is so awesome and so FULL of WIN!! Felt honored to share the Dyno day with Chris @King Tut, one of the most if not the most complete build on this forum. The car looks gorgeous and performs like an animal. Its the way to do a proper build.

Hope we can keep making meets together!

The AVO kit was running around 14.5 psi while my Full Blown kit was running around 12.5 psi which is what you would expect as the AVO kit has an even smaller turbo than my Garrett GT2871R.
Its amazing how similar the power delivery is between both, the main difference is that spike of torque at full spool that you keep from ~4K to ~6.5K.

Hopefully Ill get mine installed this weekend finally, though im installing it myself and ive never done anything like this. Going to take it very slow and hopefully i can join in on the fun soon.

The tapering down of boost really makes me want to order a gtx3071 or 76, I really want it to hold to redline but at the same time I dont want to add lag

It would be nice if we could get some boost plots from some of the larger turbo kits to compare. I am okay with loosing a couple PSI by 8000 RPM.

Yeah I was hoping someone could install one and do a before/after. Id bite the bullet but the gtx3071/76 are not cheap.
