No, that's only half of them. The other half are about how much you love your dog, truck, spouse (there are female stars after all) and Country.

So in other words, the circle of life.

I don't know. I am not familiar with many female country singers songs but the few I know always seemed to involve them murdering somebody or another.

It has been going on a while!

That picture represents a lot of what I didn't care for about the 70s.

Nothing against Vicki Lawrence. And, like you, I loved her on the Carol Burnett Show. It's the clothes and the pose. Both are the classic 70s tropey kind of things Mike Meyers lampooned in the Austin Powers series. Not for me. I was a "relaxed fit" jeans and polo/flannel shirt guy even then and that over-the-top wardrobe left me a little embarrassed for the high school class mates I saw trying to pull it off. It scarred me.

And, sorry if I offend, but my reaction to the BeeGees closely resembles "The Dude"s reaction to the Eagles. Then and now.

I heard a customer at a garage listening to this and about lost it. Had to show it to my fiance who likes country and she didn't like it either

Ahh so you were the dorky nerd that complained that everybody else was too strange. I get it.

I as mostly tight bell bottoms, tee shirts and combat boots but I did have my "goin' out clothes" of puffy sleeved, flowered, silk shirts, really tight bell bottoms and platform soled shoes for the bars and clubs and I looked GOOD! It was just the way people dressed and back then there was no reason to be trying to "pull it off" since it was just the fashion.

Oh and there was and is nothing wrong with the Bee Gees then or now. In the right setting of course.

Yep. I guess I was that guy. Wasn't a fan of the 70s "style" - wasn't sad tp see it go. Austin Powers caused some bad flashbacks. Trips gone bad. Glad you had a good time. I ran with the motorcycle/car racing crowd. Not much use for platform shoes.

The 70's was pretty much the last time I was even close to being "in style and on point". Oh, and I still listen to the Bee Gee's.

I hear people say that. I find it beyond comprehension, but I also recall hearing "there's someone for everyone." One of my brothers in law put that to the test. I have never understood that one either. Unsolvable puzzles -

That's OK, I'm not 100% sure how anyone listens to much music that was produced after about the mid-80s. I'm pretty much stuck musically in 1960-1985 with a few exceptions.

I also ran with the car racing crowd and was in the army for the last half so I don’t see how that excludes platform shoes on going out. Didn’t wear them all the time.
Not sure what you had for comparison unless you watched a pile of leave it to beaver since it just was an extension of the sixties for much of the decade. It just was what it was.
And Austin Powers was distinctly all 60s.
