Removing the horn relay and put it in the DRL? so...there won't be any horns anymore? Lol...sorry for the noobness

Correct, but this is just to test if it works.

Where is the interior fuse box? I checked the drivers side and all I see is airbag?

Those relays don't have Toyota part numbers. There were only three relays which my local Toyota parts department had numbers for and I think they were only for the starting circuits. If all else fails I'd suggest a visit to Subaru and see if they have the DRL relays in stock.

I did as you said, and nope, DRL doesn't turn on when the car is on...unless you manually switch it on.

Very weird. I wonder if it's a different batch then?

Seems yours is the same as the pre-updated High.

Yeah seems like it hey...I think they just added the extras on the "old" High model.

What are the other easy way for the LED to turn on when the car is on? With the light settings on Auto?

Thanks

Other way around - relay didn't work on "old" high spec but works on Moe's new one. Very strange.

You could run power from the fuse box(DRL empty socket pin) to the pin for the LED lights on the driver's side headlight. Won't be bright but it'll switch on when you switch the car on.

After starting, did you drop the handbrake?

FYI, this might explain some spec changes...

http://www.imperialtoyota.co.za/news...ortuner_and_86

Toyota 86

The Toyota 86, the car that seriously upped Toyota’s fun factor, is another model to receive some tweaks for 2014. Here you have a car that’s priced at the same level as a hot hatch but manages to dish up classic sports car delights – engine at the front, driven wheels at the back, fast throttle responses and quick meaty steering – without the need to be travelling at warp speed to enjoy them.

And now in response to customer feedback, Toyota has introduced a number of running changes to enhance the 86’s appeal even more. These include a new touch-screen display audio system with Bluetooth functionality, a moulded boot mat as well as daytime running lights and a subtle body-coloured bootlid spoiler – the latter two items are exclusive to the two High models.

At a glance:
• Moulded boot mat
• New touch screen display audio
• Bluetooth functionality
• Daytime running lights (86 High)
• Body-coloured bootlid spoiler (86 High)

The BRZ Touchscreen DVD is better than the 86's though...
