Scion FR-S completely ruined during a high-speed chase

A Scion FR-S sports car has been recently crashed in California during a high-speed speed chase.

If you’re used to seeing expensive cars getting torn to pieces in this section than we apologize for this one but considering the fact that we are talking about one of the most interesting vehicles produced over these last few years, which also has a reasonable price, so a crash of this model couldn’t go unseen. According to Wrecked Exotics, the Scion FR-S pictured above was crashed in Medina County, CA, after a high-speed chase. We don’t have any background data on the subject but if you do, please feel free to share.

As a quick reminder, the Scion FR-S is powered by the 2.0 liter four-cylinder naturally aspirated Boxer engine borrowed from Subaru and fitted with the D-4S direct injection system developed by Toyota. The sports car’s engine is developing a total output of 200 horsepower at 7,000 rpm, with a peak torque of 151 lb-ft at 6,000 rpm. The unit can be mated to a six-speed manual transmission in standard or a six-speed automatic available as an option.

Man! They blew that! This accident happened weeks ago and it was in Medina County Ohio which is about 30 miles south of Cleveland. It has been thoroughly discussed on this forum.
