What is a good caster setting for a track car on the sticky 200tw tires? Some people say as much as you can get, others say on the upper side of the OEM specs.

More caster is better on tighter tracks when more steering angle is needed. Somewhere between 6 and 7 is IMO really nice for most people. These cars thankfully aren't like older Subarus that came with not enough caster and desperately needed more.

In theory you can run a little less negative camber with more positive caster. In practice...most people just need more of both. Alternatively, you could make your suspension stiffer but that may not be a good idea for other reasons.

More caster has one extra drawback related to older twin Takumi788 drives (if manuf. year 2013 is right in his profile). IIRC stickier tires and more caster (and lesser offset to space out tires) can overwork/overheat EPS on older twins (supposedly fixed in MY2017 restyle), making it to unexpectedly switch off for some on track. IIRC some that reported such issue "fixed" it with opposite, dialing extra caster back. After all, more caster is one of things (alongside stickier tires and spaced out wheels increasing scrub radius) that increase heaviness of steering/forces to counteract, making electric power steering work/heat more.

Hey everyone. I just installed the Pedders caster mounts and have it currently on the min camber setup. I知 getting a clunking at full clock to the left and right. I looked at the suspension again and noticed some scraping against the body near the strut end of the sway bar end links. It seems like there痴 very little clearance there between the end link and the body. Any one else experienced this with these strut mounts?

I have considered them for/bought/installed only in maxed out negative camber position. Why would one want even less camber then stock topmounts? As for swaybar endlinks .. were those tightened with car resting on wheels or rised in air?

Here is the alignment sheet from August.

This is from alignment check today. I had 1/4 tank of fuel(not sure if that's relevant)
Everything was in spec all though rear toe moved. They pulled it off the rack without adjustment before I could ask to zero it. Should I be concerned about rear tire wear at .3ー total toe.

They were tightened with the wheels in the air. I have it at the min setting to pass a state inspection I have today. They need everything in the green on an alignment sheet. After I pass, I will me moving it to the max negative camber position.

I had the same issue at -3.1コ of camber (with coilovers and top hats that came with them though), and ended up replacing stock end links with lower-profile links from RacerX.

Funny thing is I知 on springs and SACHs, and I知 also on 0ー camber position on the top hats.

Yeah, I was confused too.
Find another car with the same struts but stock hats, and compare the geometry? 🤷

"that depends".

Do you have a front or rear biased car? I'd need to know more about your setup and your driving habits to advise.

Just another data point:

I'm also on stock Sachs performance pack car with the Pedders mounts installed but in the max negative camber orientation, along with front lower camber bolts.

I get no clunking at all and have a few thousand miles of mountain b-road driving on this set-up, no additional noises yet.

What's everyone's opinion on these new bump stops? I'm considering some lowering springs on stock struts, and they don't come with bump stops. These bump stops are 20mm and are meant to be stacked based on application. The springs lower by 1 inch, and I read the OEM bump stops are 60mm, so I'm thinking to stack two Parts by Max bump stops per corner, so 40mm per corner.

Hard to say without some data. There are a few springs out there that come with bumpstops though. RCE Yellows for 20mm drop, Eibach Prokit I think 1 inch drop.
