Edit:kinda looks like it has a Forester mock oil cooler/warmer though.

Yup. Discussed when the engine bay photos first appeared. Speculation that heat management may be a concern, hence the oil cooler and functional vents...

Or that it's actually an oil warmer, not a cooler, and it's designed to eke out another 0.1 MPG or drop another gram of CO2, not keep your oil cool on the track (as is the case in the other Subaru cars).

That would be interesting.

If making better cold start emissions is part of what's allowing us to have that NA engine, then I am all for it.
