Careful with the catless stuff. If you get caught without a cat on your car in California that could be a huge fine.

And it also smells like crap and is raspy. I did catless the first time, went catted the second time and I like it so much better. Even with a muffler delete it's not too loud.

That depends on the setup. (for the rasp)

I origionally went WORKS Muffler delete CBE with the OpenFlash headers and i had zero rasp.

I find a lot of rasp can be due to the materials and technique used in the construction of the header. A thinker metal wall will produce less volume and rasp as well as better welds.

I just picked up JDL headers and with my Nameless setup it shouldnt produce any rasp. Still have stock front pipe.

I am in the process to order the new one (+'16). I cannot install an aftermarket header, because they cannot get approval here.

question... are there any gains to going catless---> straight pipe? grom what I understood, the loss of backpressure made you lose power? don't know much about tuning or anything so any info helps.. also if you were to go full open like that would you need an OFT or tune of some sort to make it run better?

I run gruppe-s UEL, e85, and a perrin 2.5 resonated.

My car doesn't attract any attention, smells GOOD, and has 0 rasp.
